“My master’s degree is in librarianship, which encompasses a lot of skills, but one focus is on people’s need for information, and how to get them that information in the most efficient and effective way. I’m fascinated by Google and search engines in general and the opportunities they create for people to find what they’re looking for. Keyword searching is in essence that—a new way to organize the card catalog, get at the heart of a person’s question, and give them what they need, when they need it.”
Words—they’ve always been the “thing” for Elizabeth. If she is in a room with words, she’s reading—magazines, books, Kindle, blogs, letters, emails, cereal boxes, skywriting … the words, the story, the thoughts and ideas—they are the thing that most impresses her.
Elizabeth, a former librarian, public relations professional and project editor, brings a wealth of experience to her work at BoxCrush. Her expertise in gathering, organizing and presenting information is invaluable to her work. She works closely with BoxCrush employees and clients to make sure the new or updated websites are clean and optimized. BoxCrush is uniquely positioned to assist clients in both organic and pay-per-click advertising.
With a double major in English and history and a Master’s degree in Library Science, Elizabeth served as a children’s librarian for many years and as a resource coordinator and editor for a national publishing firm. Her work at BoxCrush is an extension of her love and quest for knowledge. “Google is one of the most efficient engines ever seen to get customers directly to the point of sale. BoxCrush can get you aboard that train to carry your brand to the people who matter most in your business—your customers. We specialize in Google marketing—are obsessed by Google marketing—and our obsession is your ticket to the customers you want.”
In her spare time—oh, get real. As a mom of two, spare time is not abundant. One of Elizabeth’s “hobbies” is chauffeuring children from place to place. One of her passions is baking. Cake, bread, biscuits … you can often find her at Costco buying two 10-pound bags of flour at a time—and a 10-pound bag of sugar to go with it!
