Allied Automation Logo Design

allied-automation-3color-thumb

We designed the Allied Automation website and several print collateral pieces using their established logo.

The client then asked us to develop a friendly graphical spokesperson to be used in directional signage inside the factory. We took the star from their established logo and created StarTup, a smiling extension of their brand.

We designed several versions (pointing left, pointing right), and variations of each version that could be printed in different mediums from four color offset to single color screen printing.

Clay Hall Logo Design

clay-hall-thumb

Clay Hall is a concept for an office environment in which small businesses come together to share resources.

After helping them with branding decisions, including their color choice and font selection, we crafted this logo to include the heart of their business—the personal interaction. The characters shaking hands are at the center of the logo.

Polaris Logo Design

polaris-thumb

The challenge for this logo was to illustrate polarity while describing rare earth materials.

We took photos of a plasma ball (the touch-sensitive novelty plasma lamp with shooting rays of light inside). Changing the colors from the familiar pinks and blues to earth tones, and superimposing continents over the sphere, suggested the earth emitting polarity.

This brand image has become a strong identifier for Polaris in the rare earth community.

WebExcellence Logo Design

The W in this logo design represents the rising graph of progress. The E adds dimensionality and character, forming a blend of angular and round elements. The color choice suggests solidity and refinement.

TM Youth Logo Design

tm-youth-thumb

This logo is illustrated by the letters T and M, forming a child at play. The color choice is fun, youthful and vibrant. The whole logo speaks of energy, and passion towards the mission of helping troubled youth.

Robinson Group Logo Design

robinson-group-thumb

The Robinson Group needed a new logo to spice up their tradeshow materials. This innovative use of light purple and interesting fonts helped rejuvenate their brand. The whimsical placement of the letters shows the fun company culture and personality that Robinson brought. The “Group Inc.” in the box plays to a more serious business note.

North Grand Mall Logo Design

After reviewing location photography, we decided to incorporate architectural elements in the logo. We used a simple but striking compass element above the name. After reviewing location photography, we decided to incorporate architectural elements in the logo. We used a simple but striking compass element above the name. The soothing color palette was presented by us as well.

LEMA Logo Design

leading-edge-thumb

Leading Edge Metals and Alloys wanted to reach out to the aerospace industry by including a Stealth Bomber as part of their logo.

We presented three logo choices for them, including two concepts with the Stealth.

For the third option, we were able to graphically represent the Stealth with a capital L and E shown in flight over the company’s name. In addition, we suggested these strong colors.

L&H Logo Design

l-h-group-thumb

This simple but classy lettermark has a rich use of color and is easily visible from a distance when used on signage. Client suggestions were incorporated—for instance, in the use of the curved background.

Harris & Ford Logo Design

This spiraling ribbon incorporates the H and F characters of the company’s name. This logo design has a dimensional aspect and its simple use of bold colors catches your attention.

Cientive Group Logo Design

cientive-thumb

The Cientive Group was searching for a new name and a new look. We consulted with them on their naming process and presented corporate color palettes for them to choose from.

Their business is eliminating paper documents in favor of digital ones. We chose to highlight the green aspect of their business by creating a graphic that was a circle pointing back into itself. This also evoked the central nature of what they do for their clients.

The C and the G are also incorporated in this graphic, completing the contemporary modern logomark.

BoxCrush Logo Design

box-crush-anvil-thumb

After choosing the name BoxCrush for our agency, a daunting task in itself, it was time to design the logo. The problem that confronted us was this: anything we did to the box to crush it made it, well, no longer look like a box. In one of those Ah-ha! moments, we realized we could focus on the moment just before the crush.

Once that decision was reached, the question was, “What crushes the box?” A dinosaur, an anvil, and a piano were all ideas that came quickly. We moved forward on all three by grounding the brand around the box. We could have fun with what crushes it, and add more items over time.

Blue Source Logo Design

Awn Clean Inc. was in need of a brand makeover. They were looking for a name change and a complete graphic redesign.

We helped them come up with a method for renaming the company, worked with them on color palette selection and font usage, and showed several logo design concepts for them to choose from.

We tested two of their top choices for logos with their existing customers and found their perfect match. The new Blue Source logo incorporates a drop, illustrating the water aspect of their business, with a flowing b, to simply illustrate the services they provide.

Polaris Branding Campaign

polaris_catalog_thumb

The Polaris brand development includes custom logo design, a 4-page oversized brochure with a pocket, two-sided four-color business cards, and a custom gate-fold mailer that matches the Polaris website design and tradeshow displays.

We used earth tones throughout to invoke the “rare earth materials” theme. We chose full color fantastic cave images to suggest the exotic nature of these materials and to illustrate the depths Polaris must go to in search of these items.

Kiwanis Catalog Design 2010

kiwanis_catalogs_thumb

Each year we provide the cover design, page layout, custom product photography, and direction on model photography for this project. With 72 pages and hundreds of items in the catalog, one of our main duties is file management and organizational direction of materials.

By having BoxCrush handle every aspect of the Kiwanis eCommerce website, we maintain consistency between the print catalog and the online store. This also ensures a more efficient resource workflow by having us manage the high-resolution graphics as well as the low-resolution resources for the website.

Mi-Tech Brochure Design

mitech_collateral_thumb

Continuing the Mi-Tech brand from web to print included creating a brochure that matched the website perfectly, bringing the curves, reflections and bold color use into the printed piece. The brochure uses on-location photography, product photography, charts, 3D graphs, and concisely written copy to tell the Mi-Tech story.

This informational piece shows the benefits of the product and offers compelling reasons why the client is a competent supplier of services. The pocket folder in the back allows Mi-Tech to choose inserts based upon specific client needs or to include a detailed project estimate.

Lite Brochure Design

harris_ford_brochure_cover_thumb

The Lite brochure was designed to be a standalone oversized trifold marketing piece, as well as an insert into a pocketed presentation folder. This allows the client to deliver a more focused communication about this product or to include it as part of a larger presentation.

The front shows three images when closed. The center image is actually a die-cut, revealing a larger version of the image on the inside.

She Lettered Brochure Design

she_lettered_brochure_thumb

She Lettered was interested in direct mail marketing materials to advertise the launch of their eCommerce website design to a small targeted list. They also wanted a leave-behind piece for their meetings with local Indianapolis school athletic departments. We recommended a budget-saving option—combine both pieces into one.

We designed a custom gate-fold brochure to fit inside a #10 envelope along with a cover letter. This allowed the client to warm up potential leads before cold calling them. For their existing relationships, this piece was unique enough to do double-duty as a striking conversation starter. By having marketing materials that matched the branding of their website exactly, the customer was able to build brand recognition within a few interactions.

One Project Brochure Design

one_project_brochure_thumb

This clean and contemporary brochure design illustrates a single photography project for our client, Abstract Photography. By using generous amounts of whitespace and minimal design, we were able to create more focus on the client’s photography.

Glendale Mall Letterhead/Business Card

grendale_mall_business_collateral_thumb

This simple, retro look works with Glendale’s classic late-1950s’ style of architecture. We produced notecards, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, fax cover sheets, and more to complete their branding and evoke the style of the mall in every communication.

Mikasa Direct Mail Design

greenbriar_postcard_mom_thumb

This postcard design advertised a Mikasa bowl give-away. “Bring your card in, make a purchase, and receive an exclusive item”—a fantastic way to remind people to make a trip into your retail environment. By tracking the list and keeping a record of the cards brought it, the list can be optimized for greater success.
